East Coast installed a Honeywell TrueSTREAM humidifier last winter directly into my existing forced hot air duct work. As you know having forced hot air creates a very dry environment in the house rivalling that of a desert. After the install, the relative humidity increased in our home by 15% in the winter & made for a tremendouosly more comfortable experience in our house.
